Robosaurus, the t-wrecks himself, is going on auction. The annual Barrett-Jackson car show in January will sell the 40-foot, 31-ton, flame-spewing, car-chomping mechanical dinosaur to the highest bidder.
I love the sales pitch: “You, as the operator, feel the thrill of tearing a car in half, incinerating it and throwing it to the ground in flaming pieces. Buy this for your kids, your grand kids and best of all, the child in you. All this and you own a one-of-a-kind that has not even come close to being duplicated in the last 17 years of Robo's existence.”
There is no minimum price for the sale – so if you can finagle it so that you’re the only bidder, the Robosaurus is yours for only one penny! Hmm… Pinky, are you pondering what I’m pondering?
Update: Robosaurus sold for $575,000. Click here to read more.

I sure hope that a super villain doesn’t win the auction! Who knows what terrible schemes you could hatch once you’ve obtained this mighty machine.
