What is Monster-Watch?
Monster-Watch is a blog dedicated to keeping the public posted on all the latest monster news. We scour the world for the most terrifying beasts – from microscopic space bacteria to giant woolly mammoths – and give them all a lair. We strive to get you our latest catches as quickly as we can, preferably while they’re still growling.
What Makes a Monster?
At Monster-Watch, we believe that there’s plenty of terror to be found in the world of known science. We stick to hard scientific news; while we may occasionally overlap with our cryptozoological comrades, it’s only when there are real facts and real creatures involved. But trust us – the moment they discover an actual mummified Bigfoot, we’ll be there.
Who Are You Crazy Monster Hunters?
Right now, the Monster-Watch staff consists of two monster-mad men. Co-editor and webmaster Chris Gaylord is a technology reporter and editor in Boston. Co-editor Nat Webb is a musician who daylights as an SAT tutor in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Both have been obsessed with monsters since they were young together.
Information Standards
We strive to report stories in an entertaining and factually accurate manner. We expect a similar level of thoughtfulness from our readers. To that end, we reserve the right to delete or edit any comments that may be offensive or hurtful to any member of our community, or otherwise detract from the Monster-Watch experience. Such writing includes, but is not limited to, flaming, spam, hate speech, and excessive profanity.
Copyright
Monster-Watch is licensed under three different kinds of copyright. That might sound confusing at first, but hear us out.
